The Board of Directors of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) decided at today's session not to extend the contract with the head coach of the Macedonian A national team, Blagoja Milevski, whose mandate expired on November 30, 2025, and he had been involved in the work of the two most important national teams of Macedonia since 2014.
During his tenure as coach of the best Macedonian national team, from August 1, 2021, Milevski led Macedonia in 48 matches. Under his leadership, the national team recorded 18 wins, 14 draws and 16 losses. During this period, Macedonia managed to win two play-off matches for a place in the World Cup, finished first in the C segment of the League of Nations and secured a place in the B division in the next edition of the competition.
The Football Federation of Macedonia extends its sincere gratitude to coach Blagoja Milevski and his coaching staff for their dedicated work, professional cooperation and the results achieved. We wish him much success in his future coaching career.
The Board of Directors of the FFM believes that the Macedonian A national team needs new energy and a different motivation for the upcoming challenges that await our national team. We believe that with a new professional team, a "new wind" will be brought into the work of the team, which will enable even greater competitiveness and ambition in Macedonia's competitions.
FFM remains fully committed to creating the best possible working conditions, as well as providing maximum support for the national team. The cooperation so far with the coaching staff led by Milevski has been at a highly professional level and we appreciate their dedication and attitude towards the national team. We remain ready, with the same dedication, to support the future plans and challenges of the Macedonian A national team.
The FFM Board of Directors will make a decision to appoint a new leader of the Macedonian A national team no later than December 25, 2025.
