Vardar dominant against Arsimi. Hat-trick by Mato

Vardar showed its superiority in the sixth round of the First League, convincingly celebrating on the road in Gostivar against Arsimi with a score of 4:1. The Skopje team played confidently, organized and efficiently, and after the first 45 minutes they secured the victory with three goals.

The match started off tumultuously. In the 9th minute, after a high ball into the penalty area by Arsimi, confusion arose among the home defense, Dardishta clumsily hit his teammate Drljević, the ball returned in front of the goal, and the most resourceful was Mato Roger, who scored without any problems for 0:1.
Just five minutes later, Vardar threatened again. Diego fired a powerful shot, but Arsimi's captain, Islami, made a great save to prevent another goal.
The pressure from the visitors paid off in the 28th minute. After a long-range shot by Babunski, the ball ended up in a corner. After the execution, Matić jumped the highest and with a precise header increased the score to 0:2, showing the superiority of the red and blacks.

Vardar dominated in the 35th minute, when Diego sent a masterful pass, and Roger Mato scored his second goal of the match with a cool finish and made it 0:3 for the guests.
And in the second half, Vardare went on the offensive. In the 47th minute, after another mistake by the home defense, Mato was again in the right place, put the ball in the net and completed a hat-trick, bringing a huge 0:4 to Vardar.
The second half started with a chance for Arsimi to get back into the game. In the 57th minute, Shikiru was fouled by Najdovski, and after a VAR review the referee awarded a penalty and showed the Vardar defender a red card. Shefiti took the responsibility, but shot wide of the post and missed the biggest opportunity for the hosts.
However, in the 72nd minute, Arsimi still managed to reduce the score. Ramadani took a great free kick, the ball touched a player from the living wall and deceived goalkeeper Talevski, ending up behind his back for the final 1:4.
Until the end of the match, Vardar routinely controlled the pace of the game and did not allow for surprises, showing that it is in serious form and with clear ambitions for the top of the table.
In contrast, Arsimi played one of the weakest games this season, without a clear idea in attack, with many mistakes in defense and a missed penalty that completely crushed their hopes.
With this triumph, the team from Skopje once again confirmed that they are a team that knows how to punish any weakness of the opponent, while Arsimi will have to quickly forget this lackluster performance and focus on better games in the rest of the championship.
