The PMFL leaders, Vardar, visit Gostivar this afternoon, where they will face Bashkimi in a matchday 30 fixture.
“The ”red and blacks” are aiming for another three points, which would bring them a step closer to winning the championship trophy after their direct rivals Shkëndija collected only one point in yesterday’s away match in Kratovo against Sileks.
Ahead of today’s match, Goce Sedloski’s side have a three-point lead, which would double with a potential triumph in Gostivar.
Vardar are on a three-match winning streak. After the goalless draw against their eternal rivals Pelister, the league leaders defeated Rabotnichki, Shkupi and Tikvesh, scoring 15 goals and not allowing their opponents to find the back of the net.

The Kumanovo side are hosting today’s match at a neutral venue, while their statistics were not impressive ahead of the match against Vardar when they played at their own stadium.
They have collected just two points from their last four appearances, courtesy of draws against Tikvesh and AP Brera, while Rabotnichki and Struga left Kumanovo with the full haul.
The first two encounters this season were not rich in goals. In the first match in Kumanovo, the nets remained untouched at both ends, while in the second half of the championship Vardar recorded a 1–0 victory, with Stefan Cvetkovikj scoring the only goal.
The Bashkimi–Vardar match will be played at the City Stadium in Gostivar, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00.
