First-division leaders Vardar showed in the best possible way that they are the biggest favourites to win the title this season.
This time, in the 29th round of the domestic championship, Vardar managed to celebrate a 7:0 victory over Tikvesh at home, at the Todor Proeski Arena in Skopje.
Vardar’s emphatic victory was announced in the third minute of the match, when Cvetkovic converted to make it 1:0.

In the 25th minute, Goran Zakarić doubled the lead, and just four minutes later Darko Velkovski had already given the hosts a commanding advantage.
From that moment, it was clear which way this duel would go. Georgije Jankulov made it 4:0 in the 39th minute.
Danail Tasev’s red card further worsened the situation on the pitch for the visitors from Kavadarci.
In the second half, in the 61st minute, Vardar extended their lead to 5:0 through Cvetkovic, before captain Azer Omeragić took centre stage.

First, he headed home to make it 6:0 in the 75th minute, and in the 82nd minute a penalty was awarded to the hosts. Captain Omeragić confidently converted to make it 7:0, completing a true catastrophe for the visiting team.
After 29 rounds, Vardar remain top, this time with 71 points, while Tikvesh remain on their previous total of 40.
