Tikvesh will open the spring half-season with a duel against Shkupi, in which they will formally be guests, but will actually be played at the stadium in Kavadarci. Given the situation Shkupi is in, the Tikvesh team is a favorite to win the points, but captain Aleksandar Varelovski is cautious and calls for maximum focus.
„"We have done excellent preparations in Antalya, the conditions we had there were at the highest possible level. The spring part begins for us, and with it the task that will certainly be difficult, to ensure survival as soon as possible. Our goal is to avoid the place that leads to the play-off. The first match is against Shkupi, we all know what the situation is there, but we also all know that the first round after a break is always the most difficult because all teams start with new energy. We must be focused and the concentration must be at the highest possible level, because we want to start positively and from the first spring round to start fulfilling the task that we want to realize. We wish for direct survival and the highest possible ranking in the table, and that of course means a victory at the start against Shkupi," said Varelovski.
The match between Shkupi and Tikvesh will be played at the stadium in Kavadarci, starting at 2 p.m.
