Rabotnicki reached its first victory of the season in the sixth round, perhaps just in time to gain momentum before the city derby with Vardar. Alparslan Erdem's team celebrated 3:0 against Pelister, with goalkeeper Vasko Vasilev keeping a clean sheet.
The youth international hopes to do the same in tonight's match against Vardar.
"The matches between Rabotnicki and Vardar always bring additional excitement. The atmosphere in our team is at a high level after the triumph over Pelister and now all thoughts are focused on the match with Vardar. We respect Vardar to the fullest, it is the most trophy-winning Macedonian club, but we believe that we can play a good match and achieve a positive result. The match is played in the evening, which is a nice invitation for the spectators to come in large numbers, and we will do our best to provide them with good football," said Rabotnicki goalkeeper Vasko Vasilev.
The match between Vardar and Rabotnicki is scheduled for Sunday, starting at 8:00 PM, at the National Arena "Todor Proeski".
