In today’s First League programme, one of the two matches is the clash between city rivals Vardar and Rabotnicki.
Vardar, the league leaders after 26 matches played and 62 points collected, have the task of extending their positive run in the championship and securing another three points.
Rabotnicki, on the other hand, are engaged in a fierce battle for survival. After a series of poor results in the first part of the championship, things have taken a completely different direction in the second half. They have five wins in their last seven matches, and go into this duel after losing 0-3 to champions Shkendija at the Petar Milosevski Complex.
The match at the Todor Proeski Arena in Skopje kicks off today at 15:30. Vardar are the nominal home side, which is certainly not much of an advantage, because Rabotnicki will also feel at home.
