The Macedonian Women's A national team lost 2:1 to the Latvian national team at home in the second round of Group 6 (Segment C) of the new edition of the UEFA Nations League for the 2027 UEFA Women's Championship.
At the "Petar Miloshevski" training center, both national teams played a very exciting match with many missed scoring opportunities.
The Latvian national team started the match well and took the lead early in the 2nd minute. The scorer of the leading goal was Miksone.
Macedonia quickly stabilized its ranks, imposed the initiative and deservedly managed to equalize the score in the 31st minute of the match through Maksuti.
Miksone once again joined the scorers list in the 81st minute, making the final score 2:1 for Latvia.
On April 8, the Macedonian women's national team will play away against Kosovo in the third round of our group.
