Women's A national team defeated in Baku by Azerbaijan

The Macedonian A women's national team lost to Azerbaijan in the 1st round of the League C qualifiers for the World Cup. In Baku, our team was defeated 2:0.

Aleksandra Markovska and Simona Meyer had their own attempts at goal in the first half, but their shots were blocked. Dzhafarzadeh scored the leading goal for the home team in the 28th minute, and with her second goal in the 78th minute, she confirmed the victory for Azerbaijan. Maksuti and Nikolovska had chances to score in the second half for Macedonia, but were unsuccessful in the final.
