In the final match of Matchday 12, Bashkimi defeated Arsimi with goals from Ristovski and Ribeiro, ending a run of three matches without a win. Arsimi extended their negative run to eight matches without a win.
Bashkimi had the first chance of the match in Kumanovo. Following a corner, Tenlep shot inside the penalty area, but Arsimi defender Mustafa reacted to clear the ball for another corner. A little later, Januzi also threatened with a shot from 17 metres, but the ball went wide of Arsimi’s goal.
In the 30th minute, Adis Murati shot from 20 metres, but the ball went over Siljanovski’s goal. At the other end, Arsimi’s best chance fell to Ramadani, who sent the ball high over Bashkimi’s goal following a quick counterattack. In stoppage time, Januzi broke into the penalty area and delivered a timely cross, but Ribeiro was unable to beat the Arsimi goalkeeper.
The second half started better for the hosts. In the 48th minute, the visitors’ defence failed to clear the ball from the danger zone, and it fell to Ristovski, who beat goalkeeper Siljanovski with a powerful shot.
In the 51st minute, Bashkimi defender Sumer Hasan made a mistake, but Arsimi forward Fatjon Jusufi failed to take advantage of the „gift ball“ and sent it wide of the goal. At the other end, Murati threatened with a shot from 12 metres, but Siljanovski prevented a surprise. Ribeiro also threatened from the same side, but Siljanovski saved the ball for a corner.
The hosts had a chance to extend their lead in the 60th minute, when Majmona broke down the right and provided an assist inside the penalty area, but Ribeiro was inaccurate from 7 metres. Majmona came close to scoring after rounding the visiting goalkeeper, but Iljazi reacted on the goal line and cleared the ball for a corner.
On his third attempt, Ribeiro managed to beat the Arsimi goalkeeper to extend Bashkimi’s lead to two goals. In the visitors’ most dangerous attack, Arsimi managed to score through Gaje, who entered the penalty area and beat the Bashkimi goalkeeper.
The final chance of the match fell to Da Silva, who was unable to beat the Arsimi goalkeeper.
