Skopje and Sileks played out a goalless draw on the difficult pitch in Avtokomanda. Sileks were the better side and had more chances, but they failed to beat the excellent Kristijan Naumovski, who made several successful interventions.
The Kratovo side had their first chance in the seventh minute of the match, when Manojlov found himself in an excellent position after Trajchevski’s mistake, but Naumovski saved his effort. In the 22nd minute, Shero was in a good position, but was blocked by Trajchevski at the last moment. Sileks had their final chance of the first half in the 36th minute, when Timovski tried from the right, and once again Naumovski rose to the occasion.
The second half began with a chance for Skopje through Gordić, who tried to take advantage of Džekov’s mistake, but the ball went wide of the goal.
Sileks had a spell of pressure from the 67th to the 74th minute, when Shero and Hasukić tried their luck. Shero’s chance was particularly serious when he shot from 22–23 metres, but Naumovski was phenomenal, while Hasukić failed to hit the target on two occasions.
Sileks’ final chance went begging in the 87th minute through Mishov, but Naumovski saved this one as well, earning a valuable point for his team.
