At today’s meeting, among other matters, the FFM Competitions Committee considered the appeal lodged by FC Vardar AD Skopje regarding the ineligible appearance of footballer Okere Ebube Wisdom for GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci in the round-of-16 match of the Macedonia Cup for the 2026/27 season, FC Vardar AD Skopje – GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci.
The FFM Competitions Committee adopted the following decision:
THE APPEAL lodged by FC Vardar AD Skopje regarding the ineligible appearance of footballer Okere Ebube Wisdom for GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci in the round-of-16 match of the Macedonia Cup for the 2026/27 season, FC Vardar AD Skopje – GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci, IS UPHELD.
Pursuant to Article 99, paragraph 1, item II and paragraph 4 of the FFM Competition Regulations, and taking into consideration Article 8 and Article 30, paragraph 2 of the FFM Cup Competition Propositions for the 2026/27 season, as well as Article 63, paragraph 6 and Article 68 of the FFM Competition Regulations, GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci is eliminated from the Macedonia Cup competition for the 2026/27 season, while the match FC Vardar AD Skopje – GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci is registered with an official result of 3:0 in favour of FC Vardar AD Skopje.
Pursuant to Article 41, paragraph 2, item 2, GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci is sanctioned with an automatic fine of EUR 1,000, in the denar equivalent at the time of payment.
In its reasoning, the FFM Competitions Committee stated that it operates strictly in accordance with the FFM regulations, propositions, decisions and other acts in force and applies them in full, irrespective of party, religious, ethnic or racial affiliation, and that it adopts decisions exclusively in accordance with the FFM regulations, which have been drafted in line with the relevant acts of FIFA and UEFA. Naturally, whenever it identifies irregularities and violations of those propositions, the FFM Competitions Committee adopts appropriate decisions, protecting all clubs participating in the competition equally.
When adopting the decision, the Competitions Committee, not wishing to influence GFK Tikvesh 1930 AD Kavadarci’s results in the First MFL competition for the 2026/27 season and potentially affect the club’s position in that competition, nor wishing to assign blame to the participating footballers, decided not to initiate any other additional disciplinary proceedings or similar measures, with the aim of protecting the regularity and integrity of the competition, as well as the participants on the pitch themselves—the footballers.
FFM reiterates that the only criteria applied when adopting decisions are the competition propositions and regulations, which apply equally to all clubs.
Responsibility for the situation lies exclusively with GFK Tikvesh, specifically with the persons appointed by the club as Comet administrators, whose incompetence and omissions led to this outcome.
Neither pressure, nor press conferences, nor commissioned articles filled with speculation and untruths will deter us. On the contrary. In this and every possible future case of violations of the propositions and regulations, FFM will act exclusively in accordance with the regulations. Such attempts at exerting pressure are an additional reason to remain steadfast in their consistent application.
We remind you that this is not an isolated case. GFK Tikvesh, specifically certain members of the club administration, were also directly linked in the recent past to cases involving forged documentation for the youth categories, as well as irregularities in the data entered into FFM’s official competition system.
In the case of footballer Okere Ebube Wisdom, a new medical document was entered into the system on 29.10.2026.
However, he is not the only footballer at the club concerning whom such suspicions exist. Footballer Andrej Velkov also has a medical certificate in the same format as Okere’s, without a stamp from a medical institution (blank).

This also raises a much more serious question: what if, God forbid, a footballer suffers a health problem during a match while the medical documentation does not meet the required conditions? Responsibility in such situations is not a formality, but a matter of the safety and health of the footballers themselves.
The propositions stipulate that the medical certificate must be uploaded before the start of the championship.
FFM will make no compromises regarding the regularity of competitions, will not succumb to pressure and will not allow anyone’s irresponsibility to harm the clubs that respect the rules.
