The Macedonian A national team held its first training session today ahead of the June 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Belgium (June 6, Skopje) and Kazakhstan (June 9, Astana).
Forward Aleksandar Trajkovski believes that everyone should put their maximum effort into the team's function.
""Now it's the end of the season, we're finishing up in the clubs, but this cycle is very important for us and we have to focus on this cycle as much as possible. Our first match is at home with Belgium, then we go to Kazakhstan, I think everyone needs to put their best foot forward for the team. Maybe it's difficult because it's the end of the season, but after these two matches we can rest. I hope for the best. We started well, I hope that with Belgium we will show more concentration until the end of the match, to learn from that match with Wales.".
