After the great victory over Shkëndija in Tetovo, Bashkimi enter the upcoming clash with the „red and blacks“ with plenty of optimism. In the 30th round, the Kumanovo side will face Vardar, but instead of in Kumanovo, the match will be played in Gostivar.
Despite Bashkimi hosting the most decorated Macedonian club at a neutral venue, the players„ motivation is at the highest level. The team is still seeking a “safe zone” to remain in the top flight, which is an additional motivation for success.
Bashkimi captain Armend Alimi emphasises that the atmosphere in the dressing room is excellent and that the objective is clear – another three points.
„It is normal that we are going for a win in this match as well. We are still not mathematically safe in the standings, which is why this triumph is of vital importance to us. We are motivated and I believe we will give our best to win the points in Gostivar as well,“ Alimi said.

Throughout history, these two teams have met a total of 17 times. The statistics favour the Skopje side, which has 10 wins, while 3 matches ended in draws. The team from Kumanovo won four matches, most recently on 13 April 2008 (2-0).
The match between Bashkimi and Vardar kicks off at 16:00 at the stadium in Gostivar.
