Arsimi shocked Pelister for the first first league victory in the club's history

Pelister experienced an unpleasant surprise in the match of the fifth round of the First Macedonian Football League, in which Arsimi recorded a high victory of 0:4.

Although the hosts were considered favorites, their attacks proved to be insufficiently aggressive and imprecise to shake the visiting team's net. The opening chances of Ristovski and Bulatović were not realized, in the first case with a good intervention by Islami, and in the second, the direct shot was Arsimi's ally. By the end of the first half, the Bitola team managed to hit the crossbar, but then the pace of their game dropped.

In the second half, Arsimi was like a different team and started to shift the game to the opponent's half.
Armin Besagić converted a chance in the 66th minute for 0:1, after an assist from Gafuri. Pelister failed to create new chances, and in the final, or rather in the last 10 minutes of the match, the Bitola team completely surrendered.

In the 81st minute, Taipi entered the home team's penalty area and beat Jovcevski, and his breakthrough was initially judged to be offside, but after a VAR review, it was accepted. For the Bitola team, it was a second knockout, from which they failed to consolidate.
In the very next attack, Shefiti scored for 0:3, and the final score was set by Ignatov in the referee's overtime in a solo breakthrough.

Previously, these teams had only played in the Second Football League, and Pelister was undefeated so far. This is not only the first victory for Arsimi in direct duels with the Bitola club, but also in the club's first-leg history, which began to be written this season. With the new three points, they climb to seventh place in the table, while Pelister has one point more and is in sixth place.
