Arsimi footballer Semir Džemaili spoke ahead of the upcoming match against Shkupi, reflecting on the opponent’s current situation, as well as his team’s objectives for the remainder of the season.
Džemaili noted that Shkupi is a club with a big name and tradition in Macedonian football, which in the past was considered one of the highest-quality and most renowned teams. According to him, the club is currently going through a difficult period due to various problems.
Despite this, the Arsimi footballer stressed that his team will enter the match with maximum respect and a serious approach, without underestimating the opponent.
“Shkupi is a big club with a rich history. We are not looking at their current situation, but are preparing seriously and with respect, just as we do against every other team in the league,” Džemaili said.
He also reflected on the most recent match against Rabotnički, expressing disappointment with the outcome and stressing that Arsimi deserved more, but that small mistakes proved costly.
„We played a solid match against Rabotnički, but some minor mistakes punished us. These are details that we must pay attention to in the remainder of the season,“ he added.
Regarding the club’s objectives, Džemaili stressed that Arsimi’s primary goal remains staying in the First League, emphasizing that every subsequent match is like a final for them.
