After the first European challenge against Bravo in Slovenia, First League runners-up Shkendija from Tetovo will host Skopje on Sunday, with the clear aim of confirming their championship ambitions.
„Of course, this is a new season and a new championship. The ambitions remain the same — we are aiming for the championship title and want to make a successful start, just as we should. We will give our maximum to win this match,“ Imran Fetai said at the outset.
After their first match on the international stage, the Tetovo-based team is fully focused on the clash with Skopje in the opening round of the domestic championship.
„We have currently put the match against Bravo aside. Our entire focus is now on Skopje. Only after this clash will we think about the return leg against Bravo again,“ Fetai stressed.
He is convinced that the team is ready for the set objective — to start with three points.
„Every match has its own significance. As they say, a good start is half the job done. We are aware of that and will enter the match one hundred percent prepared to secure the victory,“ Imran Fetai concluded.
The opening-round match of the new championship between Shkendija and Skopje will be played on Sunday at the FFM complex in Skopje, kicking off at 19:00.
