Bashkimi will begin the new season away from home, facing Sileks in Kratovo on Sunday. The Kumanovo-based team encountered certain difficulties and began preparations late, but this has not diminished the players’ optimism ahead of another successful season in the domestic top flight.
„We are beginning this championship season with great enthusiasm. Although we encountered certain problems and started preparations late, we are ready to give our maximum,“ Adis Murati said at the outset.
According to Murati, Sileks are a physically strong team that dominate at home.
„We face an exceptionally strong and physically well-prepared opponent. It is always difficult to play on their ground, but we know Sileks well, we will fight for every ball and try to surprise them in Kratovo,“ Murati stressed.
Adis Murati believes that Bashkimi have a good team and could be the most pleasant surprise in the opening round of the domestic championship.
„At FK Bashkimi 1947, it is not important who plays, but how much they give for this shirt. We hope to start the season with a positive result and, why not, be the surprise of this round,“ Adis Murati concluded.
The match between Sileks and Bashkimi will be played at the stadium in Kratovo, kicking off at 17:00.
