The Football Federation of Macedonia organized a pre-qualification tournament in eFootball on the plateau in front of the "House of Football" to select representatives of the Macedonian national team for the next stage of qualifying for the World Cup in Saudi Arabia. 12 teams participated in the tournament, which was broadcast live on Twitch. The most successful were Taško Ilijev and Antonio Stefanovski, who secured a place as representatives of Macedonia in the regional online qualifiers for the eFootball World Cup.
All countries participating in this eFootball competition will be able to qualify for the final tournament to be played in Saudi Arabia. eFootball is played by tens of millions of people around the world. As the Football Federation of Macedonia, we give competitors the opportunity to represent our country on the big stage.
The growth in popularity of e-football in the last few years has been enormous, and the upcoming regional tournaments will be an opportunity to connect with new and existing football fans. Each national association at the eFootball Championship in Saudi Arabia will represent a team of two to four players. The Macedonian representatives were selected through pre-qualification.
