FFM with support for clubs: registration fee for Second MFL abolished

The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) has made an important decision abolishing the registration fee for playing in the Second Macedonian Football League.

For the first time in almost 15 years, second division clubs are not required to pay a participation fee for participation in the championship. This decision, made at the initiative of the President of the FFM, Masar Omeragić, represents a significant step forward towards creating better working conditions for clubs, financial relief and promotion of the competition.

The total financial amount from which clubs are exempted by this measure is 128,000 euros for one competition season, which represents direct support and strengthening of their stability.

Additionally, considering that FK Besa 1976 will no longer compete in the 2025/26 season, the FFM has decided to fill the vacant position with FK Prespa. In this way, the protection of integrity, continuity and competitive balance, as well as the consistent respect for fair play principles in the Second MFL, are guaranteed.
