Pelister celebrated away against Brera after seven years

The Pelister team defeated AP Brera in Strumica 1:2 and thus closed the second round of the First League.

The people of Bitola finally celebrated against Brera on the away field after seven years.

The first half brought two controversial situations – a possible penalty for Pelister for a handball and a goal disallowed for the hosts due to a foul, VAR reviewed both situations. The biggest chance for the guests was missed by Bulatović.

In the 48th minute, Pelister took the lead through Mirko Ivanovski from a penalty kick.
Goalkeeper Vrgov brought down Ristovski in the penalty area and referee Gjorgjiev pointed to the penalty spot without much thought.

In the 73rd minute it was already 0:2. Boskovski doubled the advantage on a pass from Naumoski.

Just three minutes later, Antovski scored a beautiful long-range shot to reduce the deficit to 1:2 and restore hope for Brera, but the score remained unchanged. Pelister finished the match with a man less due to Zdravkovic's red card.
