In the second match of the UEFA development tournament for Under-15 players being held in Strumica and Turnovo, the Macedonia national team defeated Estonia 1:0.
Goran Georgievski’s players put in an excellent performance but, unfortunately, scored only once despite creating several excellent chances over the 90 minutes and hitting the opposition goal’s crossbar twice.
The match was decided towards the end of the first half, when Leis Fakiq beat the visiting goalkeeper in the 40th minute.
In their final match of the tournament on Wednesday, Macedonia will face Ukraine.
