The women's football team triumphed in the match against Andorra.

The women's national football team defeated Andorra 3:0 in the second match of this qualifying cycle for the World Cup.

Coach Aleksandar Andov's team entered this match in Bitola with a huge motivation to win and show that the previous performance against Azerbaijan was just a bad day.

The guests had the initiative in the first ten minutes, but then our national team took control of the game and in just three minutes managed to score two goals that practically decided today's match.

In the 17th minute, Teona Galabovska gave Macedonia a 1:0 lead, and just three minutes later, Simona Meyer scored the second goal for our national team.

The Macedonian national team had the opportunity to record a more convincing victory, and from the many chances to score, Melanija Grozdanovska scored in the 83rd minute to shake the opponents' net and set the final score.

In the second match of our group in League C, Hungary won 1:0 at home against Azerbaijan.
