The Macedonian U-18 national team played 1:1 in the first friendly match against Slovenia on the away field in Ptuj.
Our young team played a great match, especially in the second half. We had several solid chances and we can really regret not scoring a second goal. The goal for Macedonia was scored by Nenad Damjanovski.
Our selection started the match with the following lineup: David Ilkovski, Zlatko Radevski, Gorazd Ristovski, Abdula Aslani, Luka Atansovski (captain), David Stojanovski, Nenad Damjanovski, Emir Shabotić, Hisar Ali, Marko Kish, Admir Latifi. Loki, Islami, Zaturovski and Sharkovski also played in the second half.
The second control meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at the same field in Ptuj, starting at 11:00 AM.
