After away matches against Vardar and Shkëndija, Bregalnica will also visit Struga TL. Realistically, the schedule meant that in the first five rounds, the Štip side would face the three best teams from last season.
Bregalnica have not won a point away from home, hoping that today they will „break the ice“ and manage to earn a point(s) away to Struga TL. The Bregalnica camp are aware that the team must start collecting points away from home as well, after winning all six of their points at home, against Arsimi and Bashkimi.
„We started the season solidly, but we must start collecting points in away matches as well. We are aware that tomorrow we will face a good team that is difficult to beat, especially on their home ground, but we will enter the match with clear heads and one goal – victory. Bregalnica must be patient and focused throughout all 90 minutes, and reduce mistakes to a minimum,“ said Metodi Maksimov.
The winger stressed that he is satisfied with his performances since returning to Štip.
„I am satisfied with my performances. I have played three matches in which I recorded one goal and two assists, and I hope I will continue with my good performances,“ said Maksimov.
The Bregalnica player says the goal is for the Štip side to finish among the top five teams this season.
„Our goal is to be in the upper part of the table. We play well at home and have achieved two victories, while away we had a difficult schedule: we played against the two best teams, and now we are facing the third-best team as well. But I hope that we will start collecting points away from home too,“ says Maksimov.
