Shkendija are aiming to extend their winning streak in domestic football as the only team with a maximum of four wins from as many matches played. In the fifth round of the First League, the Tetovo side travel to face Sileks, who will try to stop the „red-and-blacks“” momentum in Kratovo. The 26-year-old Gabonese striker, Fahd Nzengue, was optimistic ahead of Friday’s clash.
„Of course, we must continue at this pace. We did not show ourselves in the best light in the Conference League, which is why the entire team is hungry for success. We want to win every match and aim to seal the championship title before the end of the season. This is just the beginning, and I believe an exceptionally successful season lies ahead of us,“ Nzengue said.

The striker is in excellent form and has already scored 3 goals in the first 4 matches of the new season, while Shkendija are comfortably top of the table with a maximum of 12 points. The forward wants to maintain their perfect start in the PMFL.
„Above all, we want the victory. We need all three points, and I believe a quality match awaits us. I have complete confidence in my teammates and the coaching staff. We are going for the win; that is the only thing that interests me – to win and continue along the same path. Of course, the team’s success comes first. Even if I do not get on the scoresheet, the most important thing is for the team to celebrate. The team always comes before any individual,“ Nzengue concluded.
Incidentally, this will be the 50th competitive meeting between these two rivals. In the previous 49 encounters, Shkendija have been more successful with 33 wins, Sileks have triumphed in 5 matches, while 11 meetings have ended in a draw. The match between Sileks and Shkendija will be played on Friday at the stadium in Kratovo, kicking off at 16:00.
