The Macedonia women's under-15 national team opened their campaign at the UEFA development tournament being held in Strumica and Turnovo with a defeat.
In their opening match, the Macedonia selection were beaten 2:0 by Moldova, with Daniela Donik scoring in the eighth minute and Patricia Lungu in the first minute of stoppage time.
In the second match, Turkey also defeated Montenegro 2:0, with the game decided in the first half.
Turkey's first goal was scored by Tuncel Belinay in the 28th minute, while ten minutes later Lina Buhan set the final score.
The second-round matches are scheduled for Sunday. At the stadium in Turnovo, Macedonia will face Montenegro, while Turkey will meet Moldova at the pitch in the Pandev complex.
Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 16:30.
