Vardar are strong favourites for a triumph against bottom-placed Bashkimi, but they must also demonstrate that on the pitch. It is not easy to play at the City Stadium in Kumanovo, and the hosts will certainly be highly motivated to stop the reigning champions.
Experienced Vardar goalkeeper Davor Taleski is aware of that, but he nevertheless says that Vardar are coming to claim all three points.
„Vardar always go for the win; the plan is to claim all three points against Bashkimi in Kumanovo. We want to embark on a winning run and climb towards the top positions in the table. We respect Bashkimi, but we believe we are better, and we must prove that in today’s match,“ says Davor Taleski.
Vardar enter the seventh round after defeating Arsimi in the previous round, while Bashkimi also claimed their first points in the last round by beating Skopje away from home.
The match between Bashkimi and Vardar is scheduled for 16:00 at the stadium in Kumanovo, and will be refereed by Aleksandar Grujoski.
