Shkendija recorded a convincing victory in the Conference League, defeating Slovakia's Slovan Bratislava 2-0.
With this triumph, the Macedonian champion has advanced to the play-off zone and now has a real chance of qualifying for the elimination round of the third-ranked UEFA competition.
The match started in the dominance of Shkendija, who constantly created chances before Slovan's goal. The first two goals were scored in the first half: in the 33rd minute, Bajrić unfortunately scored an own goal, and then Ronaldo Webster started a counterattack and selflessly assisted Sebastian Spahiu for 2-0 before the break. The second half was tactically perfect for Shkendija, while Slovan literally failed to create a single real chance, all of their attempts ending outside the goal of Gaye.
Shkendija played another great match and finished the league stage in front of their home crowd undefeated, with two wins and one draw.
In the final round, Tetovo will travel to Cyprus and face AEK Larnaca, the match is scheduled for December 18th starting at 9:00 PM.
