The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) strongly condemns the incident that occurred during the youth category match (generations 2009/10) between the teams of Bregalnica and Shkupi, when a group of parents of the visiting players entered the field and physically attacked some of the home players.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and represents a gross violation of the spirit of sportsmanship, fair play and the safety of young football players.
It is particularly concerning that one of the children suffered serious injuries, including fractures, as a result of the attack.
FFM announces that the competent authorities will initiate disciplinary proceedings and take appropriate measures against the perpetrators of the incident.
Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against FC Shkupi and the responsible persons, in order to ensure that such inappropriate and dangerous behavior never happens again.
The Federation once again reminds that any act of violence on sports fields is unacceptable and will be strictly sanctioned.
With violence, from anyone and at any level, there will be no compromise.
