GFC Ohrid and Detonit Plachkovica are the first teams to advance to the quarterfinals of the Macedonian Cup.
The second division team from Ohrid triumphed 3:0 in the match against Shkupi. Ivan Gligorov opened the scoring in the 25th minute. Just three minutes later, Antonio Kalanoski made it 2:0, and Gligorov's second goal in the 82nd minute confirmed the victory in the match against the guests from Skopje.
In the second duel, Detonit Plachkovica eliminated Belasica, and the match in Strumica was decided in the third minute after Ivan Galevski managed to beat the opposing goalkeeper.
Four more round of 16 matches are scheduled for next week. On September 29, the matches will be played between Bashkimi and Sileks, Makedonija GP and Struga, Rabotnicki and Bregalnica, and Vardar and Novaci.
The match between Shkendija Aracinovo and Pelister is scheduled for the eighth of next month, while the match between Shkendija Tetovo and Tikvesh will be played seven days later.
