Bashkimi and Vardar played a real championship match in Kumanovo, but without goals and without many chances.
The first minutes were spent in tactical outsmarting of both teams, with full focus on the middle of the field. It took until the 16th minute to see the first excitement at the stadium in Kumanovo, Babunski assisted, and Mato shot weakly from 16 meters.
On the opposite side, Aydogan tried from 20 meters, but his shot ended up just wide of Talevski's goal. Vardar had two opportunities, in the 30th and 32nd minutes, when Omeragic first shot from 15 meters, and then with a header, but in both cases the ball ended up over Jasar's goal.
In the 40th minute, Bashkimi had the ripest chance to change the score. The home team launched a classic counterattack, in which Hadžić assisted Simonovski, but the Bashkimi striker failed to beat goalkeeper Talevski.
At the start of the second half, there was a few minutes of interruption. In the 54th minute, an ambulance was parked next to the stadium stand to provide assistance to a person who had fallen from the stand onto the field. After a few minutes and after the assistance was provided, the game resumed.
There was another interruption in the 72nd minute after the duel between Omeragić and Ličina, but both continued to play.
In the 85th minute, Talevski broke through from the right and fired a powerful shot from a difficult position, but goalkeeper Jashar was up to the task and knocked the ball out for a corner.
At the very end of the match, Bashkimi threatened through Asker, who crossed into Vardar's penalty area. Goalkeeper Talevski reacted uncertainly, but no home player managed to take advantage of the situation.
