The Macedonian U-21 national team began preparations for the upcoming two matches in the European Championship qualifiers in Ohrid today.
The leader of the national team, Goran Stanić, together with his chosen players, has already held the first training session, and the national team players will continue to prepare in Ohrid in the coming days for the matches against Sweden and Poland that will be played in Bitola.
The Macedonian national team faces two tough matches in this round of matches, especially the match against Poland, which has had maximum performance in the qualifiers so far, scoring 15 goals in four matches and conceding none.
Our first opponent is the Swedish national team, which will arrive in Bitola with a three-game losing streak. In matches against Poland, Italy and Montenegro, the Swedes conceded 12 goals and scored none.
The goal of our squad is clear. We must win points to improve our current situation in the table. We have one win out of four matches, and we won our first points on the field in Bitola after defeating Armenia 2:1.
We play our first match on Thursday, November 13th, against Sweden, and five days later we face Poland.
The start of the two matches to be played at the Petar Miloshevski Stadium in Bitola is scheduled for 5 p.m.
