Trajkov: We have potential and I believe we will win new points

The Macedonian Under-21 national team is preparing for the upcoming two matches in the European Championship qualifiers in Ohrid.

In this cycle, coach Goran Stanić's team will play two matches, both at home. Our first opponent is Sweden on Thursday, and five days later we will face Poland.

"I expect two tough matches, but we are playing at home and that means a lot. We will do our best to take advantage of the chances and win points in front of our fans. I think we played correctly, there were good parts in our game, but also moments when we did not react the best. However, we showed that we have potential and that we can deal with any team. We could have won more points, but unfortunately in those matches we did not take advantage of the chances. We made mistakes that our opponents punished. We will work on that, it is important to learn and improve from every match," said Dimitar Trajkov.

Both matches are being played in Bitola, and the start is scheduled for 5 p.m.
