Macedonia national team head coach Goce Sedloski expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance after the goalless draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that the draw was the fairest result and that he regretted the missed chances.
„In the first half, we had chances, while Bosnia had the initiative and chances as well. If we had scored from those two chances, the match would have been completely different. This is a somewhat new national team, with a lot of running, support and fighting spirit. We played against a team that is going to the World Cup and in a wonderful atmosphere. I believe the draw was the fairest result. As far as the attack is concerned, I think the chances will come. Against strong national teams, every opportunity must be taken,“ said Sedloski.
Goce Sedloski also expressed his satisfaction with the debutants who featured in this match. Din Alomerovic, Georgije Jankulov, Azer Omeragic and Darko Angjeleski were given a chance.
„I am satisfied with the players who made their debuts. The others will get a chance in the next match. We know that these are test matches; we are preparing for the Nations League. With these players and those who will return from injury, we will put together a good team,“ said the head coach of our national team.
