Today’s schedule featured the matches from the opening round of the Macedonian Women’s Football Championship.
Champions Skopje opened their campaign with a 4:0 victory over Kochani. The hosts took the lead through Gloria Todorova in the 13th minute. In the 28th minute, Sara Kolarovska made it 2:0, and just three minutes later Rabija Dervishi scored Skopje’s third. Mila Paneva set the final score at 4:0 with her goal in the 44th minute.
The most convincing victory of the opening round was recorded by Tiverija Brera, who triumphed 7:0 over Pelister Pro.
Biljana Paneska gave the home side the lead in the 22nd minute, while in the 30th, Teona Golabovska made it 2:0. Paneska scored the third in the 58th minute, and in the 67th, Golabovska got on the scoresheet again. Three minutes later, Pavlinka Nikolovska gave Tiverija Brera a 5:0 lead. Ivana Ilieva made it 6:0 for the Strumica side in the 78th minute, while Golabovska scored the final goal.
In the city derby, Istатов secured a 2:1 away victory over Vardar.
The visitors took the lead through Iva Zdravevska in the ninth minute. After half an hour of play, Dženita Kitsara equalised to make it 1:1, while Radica Choneva secured Istатов’s victory in the 53rd minute.
Ljuboten recorded a 4:1 victory in the match against Kamenica Sasa. The Tetovo side took the lead through Hava Mustafa in the seventh minute. Ulza Maksuti made it 2:0 in the 38th minute, while Iva Jovanoska scored the third from a precisely taken penalty. Kalina Popeski scored Ljuboten’s fourth goal in the 72nd minute, while in the 84th, Hristina Jovanovska scored the visitors’ only goal.
In the final match of the opening round, Rečica and AS United scored one goal apiece and shared the points. AS United took the lead in the final minute of the first half through Ikhdina Reči, while Vanja Ristić equalised in the 58th minute.
