The Macedonian representative in the main round of the Conference League, Shkendija, was on the verge of another major triumph in the third-tier European club competition, but the Jagiellonia players ultimately managed to avoid defeat with a goal in the tenth minute of stoppage time.
Both teams played cautiously throughout the match and it seemed that they were more concerned about their own goal than the opponent's. Fabrice Tamba had the best chance to score. And when everyone expected the end and a new triumph for Shkendija, Jagiellonia's action on the left side, a mix-up in which Sergio Lozano coped best, who defeated Gaye with a strong shot and happily brought a point for the Polish first division team.
