The Macedonian representative in the main round of the Conference League, Shkendija, was on the verge of another major triumph in the third-tier European club competition, but the Jagiellonia players ultimately managed to avoid defeat with a goal in the tenth minute of stoppage time.
Both teams played cautiously throughout the match and it seemed that they were more concerned about their own goal than the opponent's. Fabrice Tamba had the best chance to score. He was played by Zejnulai and found himself in a good position on the right, but his shot went just wide of the goal. On the other side, the guests from Poland had only one shot, and that from a break, Vdovik fired a precise shot, which ended up right in the hands of Gaye.

In the 49th minute, Shkendija took the lead. After a corner kick taken by Webster, Liridon Latifi found himself in the right place and gave the Macedonian champion the lead.
In the extra time, Jagiellonia was attacking the Tetovci goal in vain, who were patiently waiting for the chance to score another goal. In the 79th minute, Besart Ibraimi tried to surprise the visitors' goalkeeper, who managed to tame his shot.

And when everyone expected the end and a new triumph for Shkendija, Jagiellonia's action on the left side, a mix-up in which Sergio Lozano coped best, who defeated Gaye with a strong shot and happily brought a point for the Polish first division team.
