Shkëndija recorded a convincing victory over Rabotnički, winning 0-3 at the FFM stadium. Jeton Beqiri’s team routinely claimed all three points.
Shkëndija took the lead as early as the seventh minute. Webster crossed from the left, Tamba found Krasniqi with a first-time touch, and he hit the post from close range, but remained composed and scored on the rebound.
Shkëndija’s next major threat came in the 24th minute. Ljatif i shot from a free kick 30 metres out, narrowly over the crossbar of Rabotnički’s goal.
In the 37th minute, Shkëndija doubled its lead. The visitors launched a swift attack and played Tamba through; he went one-on-one with goalkeeper Ondoa and calmly beat him.
At the start of the second half, Rabotnički had a good opportunity to reduce the deficit. Gaye slipped, and the newly introduced Ariton Mehmedi found himself with an excellent chance. He shot, but Gaye corrected his mistake and made the save.
Shkëndija put the result beyond doubt in the 71st minute. Tamba set up a chance for Ljatif i, who made it 0-3 with a shot from 12 metres.
