Bregalnica, newcomers back in Macedonia’s top-flight football, host Bashkimi in Shtip tonight.
The people of Shtip have three points so far, earned after their triumph over Arsimi, while they suffered defeats in both away matches against Vardar and Shkëndija Tetovo.
Bregalnica go into the match against Bashkimi as favourites, but coach Nikola Kuzmanov’s men must prove that on the pitch.
The visitors from Kumanovo arrive in Shtip on a run of three defeats, having conceded as many as 12 goals and scored none, and that is one of the factors further fuelling optimism in the home camp.
The fourth-round PMFL match at the stadium in Shtip will be played in the evening, at 19:00, and for that very reason the only stand is expected to be packed, with the support of Bregalnica’s fans helping the team secure the desired victory.
“We are preparing as seriously as possible for every match and the next challenge. In the First League, there are no weak opponents; there is no underestimating or relaxing against anyone. The chemistry within the team is at the highest level, and our entire focus is on the home match against Bashkimi. The evening kick-off under “Isar” and in front of our loyal supporters is an additional motivation for us to put in a good performance and claim another three points,” said Blagoj Hadji-Kimov.
