Sileks are the winners of the Macedonia Cup after defeating Shkendija 1-0 tonight at the National Arena „Todor Proeski. In addition to the trophy, the Kratovo-based team also secured a place in Europe, specifically in the Conference League.
Sileks started the match better and threatened through Alić as early as the 9th minute, when he sent a dangerous shot, but Gaye saved.
Shkendija then took the initiative and created their first chance through Ndzengue, whose header was cleared for a corner by Dzeko, while Krasniqi also had an opportunity late on but was a fraction of a second too late to get a shot away at Dzekov’s goal.

Shkendija started the second half better. Trumçi had a chance and shot just over the bar, then Ljatifi produced an excellent effort, but Dzekov made a fantastic save.
The only goal came in the 71st minute. Fetai failed to control a ball in midfield as he had intended, Dodev dispossessed him and broke clear down the left, then unselfishly squared the ball to Alić, who beat Gaye from just 5-6 metres.
Shkendija tried to find an equaliser until the end of the match, but Sileks managed to defend their lead and celebrate winning the Cup trophy.
