Based on the submitted match report and delegate’s report from the match between FC Bashkimi 1947 Kumanovo and FC Struga Trim Lum Struga, played as part of Matchday 28 of the First MFL on 19 April 2026 at the Bashkimi Stadium in Kumanovo, the FFM Competition Committee established that serious breaches of order and security had occurred after the conclusion of the match.
Namely, after the match had ended, while the delegate and the refereeing team were still on the pitch, an incident occurred in which players and officials of the visiting team were attacked by individuals associated with the home club and the stewarding service. The incident also involved Burak Hida, who was not listed in the match report and who physically attacked the visiting team official, Shaqiri Miftar, striking him in the chest, followed by verbal insults and inappropriate conduct towards several members of the visiting team.
The incident lasted approximately 10 to 15 minutes, after which, following the intervention of police officers, the delegate and the four-member refereeing team were safely escorted to the official rooms. In addition, the delegate requested an increased police presence to enable the visiting team to leave the stadium safely.
Also, at the start of the match, the delegate informed the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that, in the event of insulting content directed at the country and the FFM, the match would be abandoned. This information was conveyed to a representative of the home club, who then entered into a verbal argument with the delegate, challenging his authority.
Pursuant to Article 75-c and Article 77-g of the FFM Competition Regulations, the Competition Committee decided to suspend the pitch at the Bashkimi Stadium in Kumanovo until a final decision is reached. Disciplinary proceedings have also been initiated against FC Bashkimi 1947 Kumanovo and Burak Hida, and the case has been referred for further action to the FFM Disciplinary Committee.
The Football Federation of Macedonia strongly condemns all forms of violence and inappropriate conduct and will continue to apply the regulations consistently in order to protect the integrity of the competition and the safety of all participants.
