The Macedonia U20 national team will take part in the „Taranto 2026“ Mediterranean Games, where they will face the following teams in the group stage: Morocco, Tunisia and Türkiye.
Head coach Aleksandar Tanevski’s squad will play three matches in the group, while the appearance in Taranto will be valuable international experience for the Macedonian footballers. Macedonia are in Group A, together with Morocco (26.08), Tunisia (22.08) and Türkiye (24.08). The aim in the group stage will be to secure the best possible position and a place in the tournament’s final stage.
For the matches in Taranto, head coach Aleksandar Tanevski will count on the following players:

The Mediterranean Games in Taranto will be held in August and September 2026, while the football tournament is one of the sports on the Games’ programme.
