Shkëndija visit Gostivar today with a clear objective – an immediate return to winning ways and a response following the unexpected defeat to Tikvesh in the previous round. Right-back Aleksandar Trumchi shared his thoughts on the mistakes that were analysed and the team’s preparations for the upcoming clash against Arsimi.
„Of course, that defeat was difficult for us to take, especially considering that we had a run of five consecutive wins behind us. Nevertheless, we analysed the game and identified our mistakes. Without taking anything away from the opponent’s merits — they played their part — the fact is that we ourselves, through our lapses, allowed the match to take that course,“ Trumchi said.
The Tetovo „red and blacks“ defender believes that the team will show a true reaction on the pitch.
„We worked hard after the defeat to eliminate all our shortcomings. Arsimi are a serious opponent, and we are aware that any team can cause us problems if we do not approach the match with maximum seriousness and impose our recognisable style of play. Nevertheless, we are going to Gostivar to give our all and win all three points.“

Drilon Islami is suspended following the red card he received in the previous match against Tikvesh, while Bojan Dimoski is still recovering from his injury.
Brazilian midfielder Rafael Freitas has been training at full intensity for several days and will be in contention to play. Endrit Krasniqi, forward Marko Gjorgjevski and goalkeeper Babukar Gaye have also returned to the team.
The match between Arsimi and Shkëndija will be played today at the city stadium in Gostivar, kicking off at 16:00, with Vlatko Iljoski appointed to referee the game.
