The defending champion Vardar continues its performance in the Macedonian Cup, and secured a place in the quarterfinals after defeating Novaci 3:1.
The “Red and Blacks” took the lead in the eighth minute with a goal by Ediz Spahiu. Ten minutes later, Azer Omeragic joined the scorers list for a 2:0 lead.
In the 44th minute, Ivanovski was precise from the penalty spot to reduce Vardar's lead to 2:1, and the final score was set by Warren in the 79th minute of the match.
Vardar joined Sileks, Struga TL, Rabotnicki, Shkendija Aracinovo, Detonit Plachkovica, Ohrid Lichnidos while the final traveler among the top eight will be known on November 19 when Shkendija Tetovo faces Tikvesh.
