Sileks finished the autumn season in fourth place with 31 points from 16 matches, and with a record of 10 wins, one draw and five losses. The Kratovo team finished in the runner-up position last season, and this year's priority will be to enter Europe.
Head of the coaching staff Aleksandar Vasoski is overall satisfied with the spring season, although he regrets the points from two matches - against AP Brera when the match ended in a draw from 1:3, and the home defeat to Arsimi.
"We have the same points as last year when we were the autumn champions, but Vardar and Struga TL won more points this season and we had to be content with that fourth place. It could have been better, I'm sorry about the match with AP Brera where we were leading 1:3 and in the end we had to be content with a point, and with Arsimi on home field when we were defeated in abnormal playing conditions. The defeats from all three leading teams were not due to any dominant play of the opponents, but from our inexperience," said Vasoski.
He said that the first round match against AP Brera and against Rabotnicki in the final stage were Sileks' best performances in the fall.
"I would single out those two matches. With AP Brera when we won 5-0 in the first round, and in the last one against Rabotnicki when we achieved a 3-0 triumph. I am also satisfied with the game in the match with Shkendija in Tetovo. Although we lost, we still had many chances, a good game, and only thanks to the wide roster of the opponent and the inexperience of our team, the result in the end was not in our favor," added Vasoski.
The head coach of the Kratovo first league team also highlighted the ambitions for the spring season, as well as the plan for the playing staff.
"It is too bold and too optimistic to say that we will be champions. Our goal is to qualify for Europe. We have six more matches with the top three teams, and we subconsciously want the Cup, where the road to the cup and Europe can be easier. We will play our game in the spring, Sileks plays offensive football, both when we lose and when we lead we create chances, we play good football, our matches are never boring, we perform with discipline and what European football requires. As for the playing staff, the team will be refreshed with a few new names. There will be drastic changes only if some of the players are sold to some of the interested clubs from abroad. There is interest in certain players, but I don't know if it would be smart to let them go now or to think about transfers at the end of the season. We will see in the coming days, we will have a meeting with the management, and we will jointly decide what is best for the team," concluded Vasoski.
