The Tetovo-based Shkëndija team is travelling to Shtip with a clear objective – to win all three points and retain top spot in the standings, in yet another traditional derby that always brings intense rivalry. Shkëndija’s left-back, Bojan Dimovski, believes the team has completed all the necessary preparations for this difficult challenge.
„We worked hard throughout the entire week and prepared as well as possible for this match. I believe we are fully prepared. An important away test awaits us, but where we play is not decisive for us – whether at home or away. Shkëndija always goes for the win, and it will be the same against Bregalnica. I hope we will give our maximum and win all three points,“ said Dimovski.
The Shkëndija defender emphasised that there is a strong friendship between the two clubs off the pitch, but things change with the first referee’s whistle.
„Bregalnica is always an interesting opponent, and the duels against them have been attractive to watch. Off the pitch, the clubs have excellent friendly relations, but when the match begins, everything becomes unpredictable because everyone fights for their own success. That is why we are going to Shtip exclusively for all three points,“ Dimovski added.
After 11 rounds played, Shkëndija lead the standings with 24 points, while Bregalnica are in 7th place with 13 points.
The match between Bregalnica and Shkëndija will be played at the City Stadium in Shtip, beginning at 14:30, with Vlatko Ilijoski appointed as the referee.
