Bregalnica celebrated victory in the derby against Skopje

In the derby of the 23rd round in the Second Football League, Bregalnica defeated Skopje 1:0 away from home and, with these three points, remained in the race to win first place, which brings direct promotion to Macedonia’s elite football division.

The match was decided in the 41st minute, when Nikola Taleski managed to beat the opposing goalkeeper.

Skopje’s defeat was capitalized on by Ohrid Lihnidos, who defeated Novaci 3:0 in front of their home fans. Antonio Kalanoski opened the scoring in the 31st minute. In the 55th minute, Dimitrij Dimitrievski made it 2:0, while Ivan Gligorov set the final score with his goal in the 65th minute.

Shkendija Aračinovo also won three important points in the battle for promotion to the PMFL with a 2:0 victory over Teteks. Martin Radulović Veličković was credited with the goals, scoring in the seventh minute and the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time.

Sloga Vinica triumphed 4:2 over Prilep’s Pobeda at home, Detonit Plačkovica defeated Kožuf 3:2, while Kamenica Sasa recorded a 4:1 away win against Prespa.

The only goalless match was the game between Belasica and Osogovo, while the round will be completed tomorrow with the match between Golemo Konjari and Vardar Negotino.

After today’s matches, Ohrid, Bregalnica Štip and Shkendija Aračinovo occupy the top three positions with 52 points each, while Skopje are now fourth with 50.

These are the teams that remain in contention for first place, while fifth-placed Belasica have 45 points.
