In their first friendly match, the Macedonia U14 national team defeated Malta 3:2.
The visitors opened the scoring in the match played at the Petar Miloshevski Training Centre with Sheylon Lanzon’s goal in the 11th minute
In the 22nd minute, Angel Simonovski equalised at 1:1 with a precise shot from 16 metres, but just eight minutes later the visitors regained the lead with a wonderful goal scored by Lanzin from around 20 metres.
In the 66th minute, Simonovski crowned an excellent move by the Macedonia national team with a goal to make it 2:2, while in the 75th minute Nenad Jovanovic scored to give the side led by Goran Georgievski a 3:2 victory.
The Macedonia and Malta U14 teams will play another match on Monday, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30 at the Petar Miloshevski Training Centre.
