The Kochani women secured survival in Macedonia’s top women’s league after defeating Biljanini Izvori 7:3 in the playoff for a place in the First Women’s Football League.
The Ohrid side, who finished second in the Second League, led 2:0 after just six minutes of play, with Marija Julčovska scoring in the 3rd minute and Ivana Nikoloska also finding the net.
Kochani then completely dominated, with Andrea Doneva opening the first-division side’s scoring in the 29th minute.
In the 40th minute, Katerina Mileska equalized at 2:2, and the former international also scored in the 64th minute.
Dženita Kicara also beat the opposing goalkeeper twice, in the 60th and 87th minutes. In the 61st minute, Marija Velinovska got her name on the scoresheet, while one goal was scored by Jovana Stojanova.
In the closing moments of the match, Stefanija Ristova scored Biljanini Izvori’s third goal.
