Skopje’s footballers managed to stop Sileks at home in the previous round and claim a point, but today they face another major challenge. Ivan Varadinovski’s charges visit Kavadarci and will try to stand up to Tikvesh, a team playing excellent football, especially at home.
The recipe should be almost identical: a solid and organised defence and a compact midfield that will try to contain the opposition’s main threats.
„We are ready for an open contest and hope for a positive result,“ say the Autokomanda-based team ahead of the match.
FC Skopje are still without a win in the top flight since the start of the championship and sit bottom of the table with four points. Tikvesh are third with 21 points.
The match between Tikvesh and Skopje is scheduled for 13:00 at the City Stadium in Kavadarci and will be refereed by Blagoјche Ralevski.
